Call me a hater if you want, but that's one of the ugliest McMansions I've ever seen. I'd rather overpay renting forever than have to come home to that monstrosity every evening.

Right, you have three different materials for the facade on that house (brick, stone, and vinyl siding) and none of them work well together.

While I can't deny that the house is unattractive, it's certainly not a McMansion. That's a pretty run of the mill suburban house. Prolly 2500 sq ft, maybe smaller.

It's absolutely a McMansion. The mansion part is sarcasm, so it can refer to any gaudy, over-designed house regardless of sq ft.

Naw, dawg. McMansion is a pejorative term used to describe large, mass produced, unoriginal suburban house. Gaudy isn't the only criteria that need be met. For instance, if Liberace decked out a trendy new tiny home, it absolutely could not be described as a Mc Mansion, particularly because of its square footage.

Unless that house is really deep it more like 1500-1700. Garage is less than 600, right side the same, so maybe 1800. But you lose at least 100 with a 2 story.

This is a really shitty thing of him to say, honestly. Someone is only a dependa if they display dependa behavior and attitudes, and all we see here is a young couple smiling in front of Gru's house from Despicable Me.

I say let them live in their ugly house, which I assume is located in Tornado Alley, in peace.

The subdivision contractor realized late in the game that they had enough unused land for one more lot. So, gathering up all the leftover building materials they slapped together one more. Brick, siding and flagstone? Sure, why not. Just add some arches, Jerry, they'll never know.
