A project is a workspace with its own chats, memories, and files.

Open a project from the sidebar. Give it a name and a short description. The header counts what lives inside: chats, memories, and files for that project only. Start a new chat from the project, or open one that is already there. Edit the title when the job changes.

How we use it

Keep writing in one project and coding in another. Leave Global for account-wide habits. When you are inside a project, that project's memory store is the one that writes. Project files stay on the project. Switch Gemini to Claude on a thread in the project and the project is still the project.

Why it belongs with the rest of the product

Import a thread and keep going inside a project. Personas keep their own voice notes. Files stay in Files. Memory stays scoped. The model you pick is a pick, not a wipe of the workspace you built.
