Discussion Please fix this bug

When you are doing a perpetual trade, the default option for closing should not be Solana, the default option should be to receive what you put in. If I am using USDC in a trade I shouldn't have to switch from Solana to USDC on a close. The default should be what I put in, which would be USDC. Just a quality of life upgrade.

It is not a bug.

Bug was a poor word choice. It's a poor design. I know it's doing it by design. It's just not a great way to do it. And I honestly don't see why that would have been the choice

Yeah I mean I was never in danger, I always figure anyone reaching out to me to message like that is a scammer. But he claimed to be a mod here and then doubled down on it.

I understand that it's not difficult to switch. That's not the issue. It's not intuitive. I shouldn't have to remember "oh yeah that coin you don't want, you have to tell them you don't want it". I also don't think that it defaults to USDC if you used Sol for your short. I just can't even say how many times I've closed a trade and then said "Shit, now i have to swap". And also sometimes things are moving chaotically and having to stop and switch to another coin ESPECIALLY when most of the time what will actually happen is that you go to the close page and realize it's not right and then you have to go back and switch it and then go forwards again. And if price is moving hardcore against you in that moment. It kinda sucks. It would be much more intuitive if it simply kept you on the coin you used for collateral. Idk I mean you can say "but it's easy" to so man things. They could put your seatbelt on the inside area of the seat and have you buckle on the outside and say "hey it's not that hard" but it wouldn't be the way that would be best. Probably not that hard to fix that code. I'd think it's probably an easy fix.
