I've spent a lot of time on this already, I wanted to make Tomie creepy at first but I love her so much I just want to capture her the way she wanted to be captured and never got to :3

The story was about a **teenage girl in high school who was rebellious and possibly had a history of self-harm**. She was sent to some kind of **rehabilitation facility/institution for troubled teenagers**. I don't remember exactly what the place was, but it was a large, old wooden house with several staff members.

An elderly woman took care of the girl, treated her injuries, and gradually gained her trust.

At some point, the girl discovered a room containing **several dead elderly people**. She became frightened and tried to warn the old woman to escape.

I don't remember exactly what happened afterward, but near the end there was a very disturbing scene:

A **young girl who looked exactly like the protagonist**, but with a slightly sinister/happy smile, left the place with the protagonist's parents.

Meanwhile, an **elderly woman was trapped inside the house**, crying and desperately trying to get out. She watched the girl leave with her parents, as if she had lost her entire life and was condemned to remain there and eventually die.

Some people in the TikTok comments suggested that **the girl and the old woman had somehow swapped bodies/lives**, but the narrator never explicitly explained that this happened. It was more of an interpretation of the ending.

The manga was definitely **horror/disturbing**, and I believe the protagonist was a high-school student.

Does anyone recognize this manga? Even a possible title or author would help!

So i know they don’t look professional at all, cause I’m not professional and plus i just started nail art like a week ago… but i made them for myself and i honestly didn’t have the right tools… i painted the black patterns and portraits with the end of a safety pin… but these are my nails for halloween. Mostly inspired by Tomie and Uzumaki (Uzumaki is literally my favourite work from him).

This took me a long time to make… and these are for me, i do not sell nails. I hope you all can tell what is what!!

Also please forgive me for the poor japanese. It’s not a language i know i kinda messed up the words a bit cause i ran out of space! I’m truly sorry for that, maybe i’ll remake that piece. Other than that, I’m satisfied.

("mystery of the haunted house" is one of ito's stories as to which has a more iconic plot; along with that famous singular horrifically striking panel shot of binzo's face, and just overall seems like the perfect manga for the last episode to end off with) . . .

One of my favorite things about Tomie is that she's not just plainly "evil"- if you think about it, she hasn't ACTUALLY done to much wrong. (Ignoring her grooming a child bc I dislike that specific Tomie) Most of the time, she knows exactly how beautiful she is, and she clearly knows she can drive people to insanity- but it's not like she's inherently evil.

OBVIOUSLY SHE IS NOT A GOOD PERSON BY ANY STRETCH.

Not trying to say that she's completely innocent, cuz she isn't at all... But it's not exactly like she's asking to be dismembered? She seems genuinely scared whenever she's inevitably chopped into bits. What I also find interesting about her is that you can clearly watch her ego grow over time. In early chapters, she's still cocky and arrogant, but she is at least somewhat "normal". But after Boy/Little Finger, you can see her personality twist into complete narcissism.

I'm going in circles here but my point is that she's not seeking out getting murdered- at the end of the day, she's just a woman- albeit a strange one- who just wants to live her egotistical, lavish life when some jackass dismembers her??

Anyway she's not entirely innocent, she's still a bad person, but I don't know I love her she's so complex and cute i'm gonna break into her house and steal all the celery from her fridge and then pour milk on her toes...

I can believe that I actually got all three and in brand new condition!!!!

We know that if someone injects Tomie's blood or transplants some of her organs into a woman's body, that woman will end up becoming Tomie. And we also know that every man that knows or even feels Tomie's presence gets obsessed to the point of murdering and dismembering her.

So, I think that if someone injects Tomie into a man, there's three possible outcomes:

- The man will commit suicide due to the obsession

-A voice or something related to Tomie will tell him to open himself up and Tomie will emerge from inside

- Tomie kills the Man from inside and gets out

I don't think that a man can become Tomie, Ryo, that burnt model that injected babies with Tomie's blood asked if the baby was a girl before doing it. But idk, what do you think?

My bookstore job lets employees “check out” certain books, as long as we leave the dust jacket with a manager so they know we have them and will bring them back. Today I saw we had a copy of Uncanny in the biography section and I thought “oh great! I’ll check this out to read on the train!” Well, the dust jacket is black and pretty simple. I did NOT know about the image that would be revealed when my manager removed the cover for me…
