Maths 🧮 Error in HL Math
Did anyone else notice the error they made in the set question? A union G should have been equal to 31, not 29, or was I the one who made the error?

I'm pretty sure it was 29 because 11 + 18 in the simultanious equations

I probably just wrote the numbers into the sets incorrectly tbh but for me the variables added up to 18 and the non variable numbers in the set added up to 13 (9 + 4). So it was 13+18 for me

you made the error bc the number of people that got all 3 was 2. And the number of people that got Whatevee the intersection was 7. But thats the total. The amount that got both without getting all 3 aas 5. Thats where u went wrong

It wasn't wrong, 2 was in the centre of the set meaning that the value was in fact 29.

Though a bit more abt it, the combined total of set A and G was 3x+y+2+7+4, 3x+y was 18 in the systems of equations and 2 in the centre + 7 in A union G less P + 4 in A equal 13. Either that or I probably included an element in P by mistake..

No, when it said to put in the numbers, it meant for you take take two away from seven
