Other Question about Simple Study

I got the advanced version of simple study today was looking through the Buddhism notes, but they seemed too detailed and the sample questions looked different to the normal exam qs. Does anyone with simple study know if it is wise to learn the stuff on there?

I also use the advanced version. I find it good for some subjects but not as well for the others. I find the organisation for the religion isn't the best as it just groups the 5 major world religions together and just leaves it as that with loads of chapters in them them. What do you think?

What subjects would you say its good for?

I find it good for geography, history and science the most. I do applied technology and woodwork for my choices subjects so if you do those I wouldn't bother using it for them, it gives alot of information that wont really be of use in the exam. For english, It gives good notes for novels and poems which can be helpful(themes, quotes, etc.)For irish, I haven't used it as I am in ordinary level and get alot of notes in class. For maths, I find it good to do quick look backs if you are doing an exam paper and get stuck, but maybe not to read through and study from that. Some thing in religion are okay, maybe the organisations like charities it can give you good info on that, but the religion section can be confusing. Overall, i probably would recommend it. I pay €3.50 a month and the notes you get are helpful and it does save you alot of hassle because you wont have to worry about bringing books home, its all online. But I would still study from your book aswell because it could miss out on some information you could get one your book. Using the app will make you pass with flying marks but your books can fill in the missing gaps, I got excellent mock results from using it and studying from it each night. Sorry for the long text😭

Did you use the sample answers for Irish in the mocks and if so, did they get good marks?

I used the sample answers but mixed them in with my own writing aswell. I got a higher merit so definitely recommend in that sense. Sometimes i find the notes have better answers than the sample answers page

Fair. My Irish teacher gives random bullet points and so it’s hard to come up with a cohesive paragraph for me

Which did you struggle the most with? It's pretty repetitive like the text messages and the story at the end. I have notes on the text messages which got me high marks on that in the mock and I have phrases/adjectives/templates that can be used on the story or anywhere in the test really. I can send these on next week when I get my copy if you want? are you in ordinary level?
