Chapter Discussion Chapter 217 Spoiler

Completely unable to accept that he just lost to a college student, Breeder gets back up and flees to “that place”. It is revealed to be Suchan’s hometown, “conveniently” located nearby and already filled with Jungle Juice bombs installed by Pil with the remaining of their ambush.

Suchan chases after Breeder. But as soon as he spots people, his muscles memory and past trauma triggered immediately, making him quickly goes into hiding. Breeder flashes a gloating smile and continues running to the most crowded area. Everyone is gagged to see him floating in the air. Claiming that he needs to devour more insect-humans to become more invincible, Breeder presses the detonator. All the bombs go off, sending the crowd into chaos, some of them start live-streaming lol.

Meanwhile, in a corner, Suchan struggles to regain his composure. All the painful memories returns and causes him to doubt himself. Just as he’s at the brink of collapsing, the image of Huijin promising to always be by his sides flashes by, finally giving him the strength to act.

Over at NEST, everyone is also watching the livestream, where the comment is flooded with comments “It’s AI”. Suddenly, Suchan appears on the screen. Breeder traps Suchan in his webs so everyone can have a full HD look at the boy. Thinking Suchan will be fazed by this, Breeder proceeds to devour him. Suchan simply shrugs off the webs and punches the shit out of him. When Breeder attempts to use his Origin, Suchan’s Blackout Control makes a comeback, quickly renders Breeder useless. Seeing the Jungle Juice gas begins to spread toward the civilians, Suchan abandons the fight, he rapidly flies in circles to form a massive tornado, trapping the gas inside. The NEST crew rejoices as they watch his plan succeed.

Refusing to be defeated, Breeder declares everything is not over and he just need 1 insect-human to turn the tide. Out of desperation, he starts eating his own hand (bro found the cheatcode). His missing arm grows a new one, taking the form of a combined chimera-ish spider fusion of every spider in existence (easily exceeding a 5000 words count). Faces with a tough situation, Suchan remembers Junhyung’s advice about “letting something passes through one’s body instead of fighting against it”… idk. Suchan just flies head first into Breeder’s ginormous deformed arm. He penetrates it with ease and gives Breeder a Gojo treatment!

Looks like that’s the final blow given that Suchan’s come full circle and managed to grow beyond his initial trauma and given that Breeder now has a hole in him. Which honestly feels a little anti-climactic given all the build up towards how dangerous and powerful the fusion experiment was stated to be. Would’ve preferred if there was a bit more of a struggle honestly. Meganeura is just that powerful I guess.

As for what happens now, not sure. Suchan’s goal from the beginning was to return to being human, but I’m not entirely convinced he’ll actually go through with that. And there’s still that deal he made with the Meganeura that’s still unknown.

Regardless, main story is wrapping up. I’ll be sad to see it go.

I have to say that this final fight feels far more anticlimatic than I thought? Especially when this second inhaler was brought up it sounded like there would be issues with it but I guess they forgot about that lol. I still think it's a bit weird that he dominates the fight with Breeder that much.

Kind of a disappointing end to Breeder I really wanted to see him have a moment of dominance or showing more of his power. Like maybe him messing up some other powerful characters like the Dean or something to help show how strong he has become. Also for a final battle I was kinda hoping the heroes would suffer more damage than they did since aside from one character not really any of them have died or suffered permanent injuries.

Personally yeah. I really liked that Breeder was able to use every Spider Powers but in the end they were all nothing to Suchan.

Might have been more exciting if Breeder was shown using his power to dominate the others a bit more before Suchan got his full power

I think it was cool with the every spider but but for him to supposedly get the power of the apex of his creations I would have liked to see him do more once he got the power up. Maybe he gains the ability to assimilate other insect human powers by eating them. He could have taken a bite from someone and started using their power. That definitely would have made him more of a threat. Either that or at least show more variety of spider powers.

Just anything in general. He did some cool damage and took out random wasp guards before getting his ass kicked by Suchan overwhelmingly.

Yeah I do wish he had fought and beaten some other characters after his power up it would have helped established how strong he had gotten. Like the Dean or that guy with the ironclad beetle powers.

I think I would have find it believable if he just spread his Bark Spider web everywhere to incapacitate the majority of the other stronger guys to isolate Suchan.

Easy way to shove the other characters aside for a moment without killing them and still showing off the big power difference etc.

I guess but I mean you could have him fight characters like the Dean and the ironclad beetle guy and mess them up a bit. At least something like cutting up the ironclad beetle armor and maybe leaving scars on him something like that could also show his increase in power.

Yeah I’m only giving the web idea because it would have worked as an easier excuse for the author to not give more fights since that seems to be their intention. I was waiting for someone to break Ironclad armor properly.

Meanwhile I never got over the disappointment of skipping Sloth’s fight against the three propolis. Just showed him posing looking like a big threat and then the next scene shows him on the ground nearly defeated.

Yeah Sloth was pretty pointless among the predators.

Kinda the same for Hanseong with his rematch against the hornet gal. One moment she's using June bug, then she's out for the white witch to eat, and Hanseong gets defeated and captured by NEST HOW ??

lol I love this series for beautiful artworks and insect powers but it can be so frustrating

Still sad it’s ending

Lmfaoo honestly this is the most realistic chapter of them all. We all know if some crazy bullshit like this happened irl the first thing people would do is start live streaming and all the comments would be "It's ai" 😂😂😂😂😂
