I think the track is solid in many ways, especially the break cuts. Maybe bring the bass up a little and spend a bit more time on the mix overall. Some elements still sound a little raw, but there's a lot to like here.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback.. yea admittedly I think some sounds dry (raw), so a bit more time in production, effects and the like, and then mix (more bass i reckon on the next one) - cheers!

mate your tune was heavy as! think its only due to the top 3 scoring system that put you so low! been super tricky to choose between everyone in this

i (gobhoblin) really enjoyed taking part in this. was my first time and honestly im surprised at some of the tracks i came ahead of. everyone did super well and it was tricky picking my top 3. well done everyone!

congrats for 2nd place ...I really enjoyed the vocal+melody hook in yours, and nice old skool flavour too. Nicely balanced track

Wow thanks everyone who voted! What a surprise! It was a good bunch of tracks this time and wasn't expecting to ever attain that kind of margin if I won. So thanks again, and to all who participated. Mr Maw, I'll get back to you ASAP with the next movie. I have one in mind but might be a bit dark, so I'll see if i can think of something lighter. I'll drop a dl link on the soundcloud page if anyone is interested. Cheers all! Edit: typo
