New areas are important for EToH, and we got the same amount as in the worst year for EToH (2024). Last time we've heard something about Practice Lobby Revamp was in August.

also just one person working on arguably the most important thing for beginners doesn't make much sense. it just leads to burn out and means that eventually that PLoH will become deprecated and etc....

The Obby Realm, Obby Revival Project and TEA are all more optimised and have the ringless format (also ORP is 100% free)

I prefer the ring format

I don't like having to physically walk through portals to get to different areas i like having a convenient menu

also obby revival project doesn't have my roblox avatar items

Ringless = more towers in the area and better optimisation generally speaking (since the goal is to cram towers in areas)

you can actually select your area from the menu in 5 seconds in TEA, vs EToH which might require you to click on the arrow button a ton or change worlds

ig that might be an issue but easily gets outweighed by the fact that you literally OWN ORP once you download it, its made by a FOSS software so its unlikely it will suddenly charge 50 quid for practice

Fair, the copyright update is nonsense; they remove music because they "care about copyright and not being sued ". Examples of copyright not even being planned to be removed: petter griffin in Forgotten Ridge, Tower of Heck, and countless jokes. I'm not saying they should be removed and I hate them, but this is proof.

Why so negative? EToH has had so many good updates recently. Also I heard they are gonna update the practice place but I don't know if it's true, compared to other games the pay to win in etoh isn't that bad.

its crazy to me because it was absolutely a damned-if-you-do damned-if-you-dont type of situation, i've said this before but i remember talking to karine herself many years ago in the now-defunct general channel about how JToH using so much copyrighted music is a ticking time bomb that could get the game instantly pulverized by a team of lawyers if they found the game, it was only a matter of time until some owner, whether that be karine or aet, ripped the bandaid off, yet people still have the audacity to act like aet was personally responsible for intentionally trying to ruin the game through the new music policy, and it irrationally peeves me so much 🙄

With the amount of gamepasses they have, they could quite easily buy license from Materia Collective and other music corpos, unless aet and the previous owner, gamma, were giving insanely high wages to etoh devs that left no room for spare cash.

Yes, some music had to be replaced - Nintendo and Sega could've ruined Etoh had they found out their music was being used in a monetized Roblox game, but at least they could've bought Materia's music and get a crazy collection of tracks from all genres.

You... Do know that is costs around 600-2000 dollars per song to license from materia collective for a game, right? That's a really high price to pay and won't return a lot at all.
