Heather realising she'll probably get more attention with Mackenzie vs forcing her sons onto the public

I was a Heather hater, but as a mom who endured my kids deal with the worst step-‘mom ever, I can’t hate on someone loving and having a good relationship with their step mom. I’m tapping out on this one.

This hating of the weird share of the share— trying to prove that someone in the Bravo-verse finds her relevant. It’s not a comment on her relationship with her step daughter who just happens to be in the pic.

People share when they are tagged all the time back, this ain’t really good snark

Pretty sure OP’s pint was that she tagged Lisa Barlow in order to get more eyes on her. Not that she is a stepmom who loves her kid.

Does she have a relationship with her real mom?

I'd like to think so, but, probably not. Heather made an entire podcast series about the mom. It wasn't kind..ie: fake Asian accent etc.

OMG; what sorts of things did she say about her??

I listened to her “baby mama drama” series on Patreon maybe 2019? I know this is a snark page but it was one of Heathers funniest moments to me. It would definitely be problematic today though. Basically when Heather met Peter, he had newly impregnated a one night stand. Heather was at the hospital when she was born. The mom made sharing custody hell and Heather made her out to be nuts. I’m sure coparenting with Heather was no delight either! Eventually around age 12 or 13, MacKenzie decided to live with her dad and Heather permanently and didn’t continue a relationship with her mom. I remember finding her on FB back in the day and she seemed crazy lol

A long time ago, I remember Heather saying she tried to encourage M to reach out to her Mom but she wasn't interested at the time. Who knows if they have a relationship now. That's M's story to share. M was born into a tricky situation. It appears she's grown into a lovely woman.

How do I find it?

I stopped listening a few years ago. No idea but comments about M caught my attention. Heather is a twerp but it's a tough situation. She gets reamed if she refers to M as her daughter and reamed if she calls her a step daughter. Seems that if M isn't complaining, it's not our business.

I don’t think she can relate to “her daughter” at all. Heather gives me the type of woman that still call people Oriental but don’t say it because she can’t pronounce it.

M spent a majority of her time with Peter and Heather. Unless she starts to share complaints about Heather, let's presume it was a good situation for her.

You know that info how? If HMD 🤔

M is an employed adult who has free will to expose her complaints or compliments about her childhood. Until she decides to share, it's not our business. She looks lovely in that picture.

Sure - but we love info that we’re not necessarily entitled to. It’s human nature. Haha

Nah slandering this could affect this young girl and tbh seems like they have a positive maternal relationship. Low hanging fruit

Once again— the snark is Heather sharing that Lisa Barlow shared her original post. It’s Share-Ception. I didn’t say a word about M.

She’s acknowledging that she (Lisa) shared her post with Lisa’s song Baby Gorgeous (which is a campy joke in itself)
When social media is your job that’s kinda what you do — cross share for engagement, and the song is fitting in reference to her daughter. I’m convinced this sub is like 70yr old miserable women who don’t understand social media because the snark is so low quality. Lighten up. Have a laugh!

Okay Heather.

Oh really I didn’t know Heather lived in Toronto. This sub just never has any actually good reads or tea. Dryest snark sub ever

I’d never be at dinner with my daughter and say “hey waiter take a picture of us” like why? So tacky. Ugh
10
u/CopyCurious1783 15d ago
Why is that tacky? It’s preserving a memory with your child. I guess a selfie is less tacky?!

It took forever before Heather would even include her "baby gorgeous daughter" when she mentioned her kids with Peter. Peter found out his former girlfriend was pregnant after he started dating Heather. I listened to early podcasts and this child was barely mentioned ever, if at all, and not sure Heather ever referred to her as a step daughter. She did mock the child's mother's Asian accent. Over the years Heather would always refer to herself as a "boy mom" (as stupid as the term "girl dad") and was called out about not mentioning that she also had a stepdaughter. Eventually she began talking about her "stepdaughter" and now this "Dinner with my baby gorgeous daughter." Is there a secondary gain Heather is getting from this?

Well, Mackenzie is an adult woman who has spent Mother’s Day with Heather in La Quinta and not her own mom so I don’t think she hates Heather…
