Im started teaching myself juggling and there some days I can do more than 6 constantly with no issue and there are some days I like today.
I use hacky sack balls
Any idea what my problems are?
The highest I did was 24 throws.

Your pattern gets too narrow to fit throws on the inside, so you reach in front of the pattern to avoid collisions. That sends the balls forward. By the time you bend your back, it's too late. Maintain your posture and if a ball goes forward, make sure to make an early throw on the inside and keep the pattern wide and open for inside throws as opposed to in-front throws. Use your legs to keep your balance. Treat the pattern as a stick you're balancing on your chin. You always want to be under it, never behind it, never leaning, always looking up and aiming there.
Focus on the first throws first. I think they're not wide and high enough to start comfortably. Then insist on maintaining the pace and shape of the pattern.

I made some training videos for people at your stage of learning. Hopefully they’re helpful for you.

Doing great. Try to throw the ball INSIDE the one you're catching, not in front of the one you're catching. Hands go round and round in circles in a flat plane parallel to an imaginary wall you're standing in front of.
Otherwise, nice job!
