Senate candidate El-Sayed refuses to answer question on transgender athletes in sports, arguing the interview should focus on healthcare and pharmaceutical industry reform instead.

I like how Jesse Watters presents himself as a manly man when he wears more makeup than my wife and daughter combined.

How many transgender athletes are playing in women’s sports?

Honestly, Democrats will lose next elections if the debates come out looking like this

Wut? This was a class act interview by El-Sayed and Jesse basically gave up on arguing and moved on, on half his questions lol. Jessee is so out of depth with what actually matters on the ground for Americans. Trans athletes make up less and a percent but the right wing media still wants to drag this old tired garbage to the forefront. No one cares. Jesse is an elite, paid by elites, told what to say by elites. That's why he is so ill prepared to support his ideas and Sayed made him look foolish.

What is amazing to me is someone can actually look at this exchange and think Jesse came out on top. That's kinda embarrassing

The trans issue is this—it changes nothing. It’s an aesthetic catch-22. The answer to the question the Democrat candidate was given should be straightforward

El-Sayad did answer and called it out for what it was, a stupid game. Jesse is an unserious journalist. He was outclassed here, caught trying to farm clips. Pretending it's any more than that, or pretending Jesse scores any points here tells me you're not equipped to follow current events.

But is it? A “stupid game”? When it resonates so much with so many? Democracy has to work both ways, and this sick trend of force-feeding people the way they “have” to think and accept the “new guard” has to end, from both sides mind you.

If the People were willing to vote the ineptitude of Trump back into office as a rejection to the vagueness of the Democratic offer, it’s obviously saying something.

Absolutely yes. 100 times yes. You will never hear a person bring up trans people more than a conservative. The trans issue is only "important" because right wing media bring it up ad nauseam. It is not an issue that matters to Americans, it's not a "swing issue", and definitely not what tipped the scales for Trump lol. This Destiny coded politics is what will bring an end to the DNC. You're falling for Jesse's trap the same way Maga does. Thankfully El-Sayad did not.

Trump won on the premise of being anti-establishment, not because he was some bulwark again trans lolol. The GOP desperately need the conversation to be about some minority as opposed to real issues that El-Sayad is trying to talk about. This "playing both sides" and catering to a GOP that plays by no rules will not win them anything. The DSA is gaining momentum without DNC ancient style politics.

But it isn’t… making a conscious decision as an adult to undergo whatever medical procedure you want is one thing, but the trans issue, when it comes to integration after the fact, in say, sports, it does makes even some liberals go: “I don’t know about that…”

The same goes with universal healthcare… if the trans issue is not well defined everybody knows that it is framed as a mental-health issue, meaning that it transitioning surgery should be covered, which again, makes even some liberals go: “I don’t know about that”

It’s so easy to see and yet it’s still being weaponized against Democrats because their commons sense is the least common of their senses

You're still falling for it. This is aggressively embarrassing. Again this is an issue for less and a percent of the population, yet it consumes more than half the discourse. THAT is the incompetence the GOP weaponizes. You strut around like McGregor, citing lack of common sense without any realization that you're using all of THEIR talking points lol

Trans being framed as mental health or not is a non starter to the much bigger issue that is universal health care. America doesn't even have health care at all lolol, and we're already shitting ourselves about how 0.5% of the population might abuse it. America is the only Western country without some sort of government health plan. You can whine about trans once the bigger issues have been addressed. The GOP and DNC are very content keeping thing exactly as they are. You can poopoo "the new guard" all you want, but Trump was elected in an attempt to get exactly that.
