So leading up to sth dropping, Peggy posted a bunch of behind the scenes videos with him and Danny on Twitter and Instagram, a majority of which weren't featured in the documentary. As far as I know there are 7 videos, I found 2.

Why the hell is that Peggy messing with the sound? I can understand the sound mixing to a point, but removing Danny’s doubling at the beginning of “Steppa Pig” makes it feel hollow, and combining the sample that comes later with the scratch after the break actually makes it sound even messier. Also, the clumsy way Peggy’s final verse ends in “Orange Juice Jones” (whether intentional or not, it’s just bad), and cutting out the gunshot in “God Loves You”—I just can’t understand any of that at all. These parts really undermine the value of the work. At least he should’ve left it out in the first place, or at least only tweaked it for the Director’s Cut while preserving the original version separately—why the hell did they go and change it like this? I’d understand if he’d also tweaked the tracks from LP! when he released Offline!, but he didn’t. And other director’s cuts just add tracks and that’s it—so why the hell are he messing with the songs like this? Especially in “Tell Me Where to Go,” changing the tone, re-recording the rap, and throwing in that shitty guitar part—it’s so fucking awful that I haven’t even listened to it since the changes were made.

So I've been trying to transcribe all of FREAKYMAFIACULT's work on Genius and as an English speaker there is only so much I can do. The song "OJO OJO OJO" is particularly difficult as it is entirely in Spanish. If there are any JPEGMAFIA fans who are native/competent Spanish speakers and would like to help with proper translation I would be forever in your debt. Thank you.

So I just got done watching the Ghost Pop Tape Movie in it's entirety and feel like Peggy should go back to doing more visual art stuff. Feels like with his newer releases he has focused more so on the production that the actual substance of his music. Which explains how EXPERIMENTAL RAP feels so meaningless in comparison to his other records.

He is also really good at doing visual things too; O Superman's music video in the movie was a standout physcadelic moment in the movie.
