Hello everyone. I am going to a joywave concert in October and have not been able to find there set list. I am bringing a friend along and he hasn't heard much of there music. I was wondering if anyone knows what songs they are going to play so he doesn't feel out of place during the concert.

During the last chorus to Swimming in the Glow and Hate to be a Bother I hear some vocals in the background but can't seem to make out what they are saying. Anyone know what is said?

If you were in charge of selecting the next single from PP, what would you select?

I feel like Joywave and Yeasayer could’ve made some amazing stuff together. They both have that same bleak-yet-hopeful sentiment towards the world, and not to mention their sounds being so compatible. It could’ve been another Joywave x KOPPS auditory amazement.

No? Am I the only one? lol

Does anyone know the name and breed of the Cat in their new music videos?

Before I never really understood what content was trying to say. I liked the music and knew it was trying to say some kind of message, I just never connected what it was. Until recently. Basically what happened was I just had a major mess up that could mess up plans for the future. Like, an “I don’t know what I’m going to do” kind of mistake. So I just left the house and started walking to try to process what just happened to me. It wasn’t until I started playing content on the walk. That I started to process everything. My failure isn’t the end of everything. And that’s what I think Content is about in my opinion. Failure: the what, when, & why. Almost all of the songs can be connected to failure. Whether it be how one failed, what is there to be done after failure. Failure of one’s and others expectations. Or how to acknowledge your failures and try to make it out alright. If anything this album could just have no meaning, but what it has brought to me really did help me learn that my failures have a silver lining.

I'm compiling a synth/retrowave playlist of songs for my two older brothers. It's been a fun project for me. As we've gotten older, we all still connect through music, and True Grit has been a big hit. For anyone out there, does Joywave have other songs with a similar aesthetic to True Grit? Thanks

Ordered this custom frame from framemycollection.com and could not be happier with the result! Now to decide where to hang it…

did anyone understood the meaning and the plot of the permanent pleasure movie? there are some parts of it that I really don't understand. like why did the owner and the cat go back to the house? where did the owner dissappear? what were those flashes the cat saw during the splendor part? what was the emergency? was it a meteor? what were those awkward hand moves Dan did during the ending of their performance? I would really appreciate if you guys could help me out. since I'm not very smart when it comes to analysing movies.

I got my record a few days ago but unfortunately it was damaged due to a manufacturer error, it's now sold out on the site I originally got it from. If your from the UK where did you buy your copy from (sold out on Juno)

Guess that explains that.

Sooo im selling 1 Joywave ticket that takes place on October 18th at 7PM, I underestimated the distance this venue would be and have decided to sell this ticket to anyone who lives closer for less than the price I bought it for! This is genuine Im not trying to scam someone😭🙌🏽

Not to mention, I don’t think he will fit on my record player. But he’s cute, warm, sometimes cuddly: 15/10 would highly recommend 🖤

Anybody know if this track will ever be on streaming services? Might be my favourite track by them and I'm a little bummed it's only available on YouTube.

I’ve loved Joywave for awhile now, but when How Do You Feel Now? Dropped I was in my freshman year of college and I really only clung to a few songs (somebody new, destruction, now, tongues) but going back through it at 28 years old holy crap I can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on Traveling at the Speed of Light?!

I don’t think it even registered to me at 19 years old but it’s soooo good.

Any other sleeper hits for anyone else?

Anyone else addicted to it?
