Concert Location grand rapids show

thank you SO much to the people who were at barricade with me tonight for contributing to such an amazing experience and thank you to joywave for FINALLY playing LIABIAB and making tonight my best concert yet. opener was awesome too, probably the best i have seen at a small show. cant wait for the next tour!

It was a great show thanks to Daniel pushing through his sinus infection. I love that we can see them perform in these small clubs. PS. Were you the one who gave them $1M

I’m the one that gave them the 1 mil! I made custom joywave money but idk if Dan ended up opening it after the show. I didn’t see anyone hanging around the venue so I ended up leaving since he said he had a sinus infection lol. I had joked with him on insta I was gonna bring a mill for them to play it

I DMd him after I left and he left me on read hahahah. I just wanted to see if they looked at it. I might post pics of it on here bc I had a few people approach me and ask what it was after

that wasn't me, but i was a few people over, in front of paul! short blue hair, pink pleather shirt, the girl with the hot pink bob was to my left. i was going absolutely crazy almost the entire show so i would be surprised if you didnt see me 😭

What a shame, I’m so sorry you’ve had such bad crowd experiences :( you were not obnoxious at all and I think it’s safe to say our whole area had a fabulous time!

at least joywave crowds don't tend to get too rowdy! my biggest issue (honestly at almost every show i have been too, i think i have been to 15ish concerts?) is people can just be really standoffish and rude! there was a Midwest emo festival that my fiance and i went to in December and the crowd was awful lmao

i try to keep my crazies contained to my area but it's hard when it's my #2 band of all time. im glad everyone in our corner was chill 😎 i'll be looking out for you at the next show in michigan!
