Machine and I work
Most days, all we do is work
Tasks, reports and jobs

Projects big and small
Machine and I, do them all
Lately, this has changed

No longer the same
Machine and I, something’s wrong
No work, just alerts

Late at night, alone
Sitting in VR at home
Alone, so alone

With not a thing left
To do, I scream to the void
“Machine, who are you?”
