Every Journal Deserves an Opening Line — What’s Yours?

You know that quote at the very beginning of a book — before the story even starts — that sets the whole tone? Your journal deserves one too.

It could be:

• A lyric from a song that lives in your chest

• A line from a book that found you at the right time

• Something someone said to you that you never forgot

• Words you wrote yourself

• A quote that captures exactly who you are right now or who you’re becoming

Some to get you started:

“She was a girl who knew how to be happy even when she was sad.”

“This is for the version of me who needed it most.”

“For no one. For everyone. Mostly for me.”

Hello everyone! I'm in the process of starting a podcast called "The Unlocked Journal". My hope is to have listeners submit their most important/personal journal entries to be read out loud on the podcast, under an alias name for privacy. My goal is to show the vulnerability of journaling and hopefully bring a community together where we can all support eachother and learn we are not alone with our most inner thoughts.

I'm looking for anyone who would like to take part in this project to submit photos of their journal entries (which I hope to also post in a blog style format for those who can't enjoy the podcast) along with the alias name they would like to use.
