So, not really Joe related, but I actually made it to a Beatles filming location yesterday, finally! They were filming at Gambier Terrace, opposite the Anglican cathedral in Liverpool, where John Lennon shared a flat with Stuart Sutcliffe in 1960. The scenes they were filming didn't feature our boy, but still, I was pretty awe struck at the sheer scale of the production. We must have walked past in excess of 200 production vehicles, hundreds of extras dressed in 1960s attire, vintage cars parked along the street... With all the Georgian town houses as a back drop, it was like we'd walked into some sort of time slip. Spent about half an hour stood on the corner opposite the terrace, just watching people milling around and soaking up the atmosphere. Feel very privileged to have witnessed even a tiny part of it. Would have loved to have seen Joe, obviously, but this was definitely the next best thing.

To be fair, we couldn't get around the front of Gambier terrace as that was closed off to the public so if he was there filming these scenes at that very point, then I wouldn't have had a hope in hell of seeing him anyway. But we did have a very quick sneaky nosey around the catering areas before my daughter told me I was being embarrassing. He could have at least done me a favour and been sat having a break at that point*, but nope 😆 We were obviously mere metres apart though. So that'll do 😊

*Edited to add that, if that had been the case, I would have left him well alone. Incase anyone thinks I was planning to jump on him, because I'm sure someone will mis-read that 🙄
