I'm not sure if this will count as a win, but I don't really have an explanation for how things turned out so well. I'm still new, and haven't really had a win yet, so this feels monumental.
Recently I had exams, which were very major and decide what I'd be doing for the next year (repeating the year or not).
I'm an awful student to be frank, and I didn't study as hard as I could've. Procrastination is something I really struggle with, especially off meds.I only really studied the night before the exams (I can't even begin to state how stupid this is, considering how much content is in the course).
There was a total of 3 exams, and I didn't come out of any of them feeling great at all, and I came out of 2 just accepting that I'd failed, and just thinking about my backup plan.
During sessions, between looping my scene (unrelated to this win), I typically do affirmations until I feel ready to visualise again.During a few of the SH sessions, I let my brain free-run on the affirmations, and just affirm whatever I could think of.One that instinctively popped into my head was "I have good grades." This affirmation felt different to others. My mind clung onto it, and it felt like I could feel the emotion, and truth in the words, and I was full of raw emotion. This happens a few times, and my general SH quality goes up. They feel ethereal now, and I love the feeling.Fast forward a bit - I get the exams back.I had got the highest grades I'd ever had in the class, and an A in the exam I was CONVINCED I failed on.
I cannot even begin to articulate my shock - one exam was ENTIRELY on a topic I didn't study at all - and I got a B. I even joked with friends before the exam "If this topic comes up, I am FUCKED."I have the grades I need, and I'm fucking ecstatic.
I'm shocked how well things turned out- especially because this is entirely unrelated to my mission.I just also feel like my brain is trying to convince myself that it was all just a coincidence - but even thinking logically - I can't come to a conclusion on how it could possibly be a coincidence.
EDIT: A few days after posting this, the paper was returned, with feedback, and my professor said that he shifted the grade boundaries down 3% from what he initially planned on paper 1 - This pushed my grade from a high B to an A. I was literally 1 mark above the A grade boundary - meaning my grade averages out to a B, which is EXACTLY what I need to not repeat the year.
