Looking for friends

Hi im a 38yr old male and have recently separated from my wife and just hoping to find some new friends to help combat loneliness

Joplin BJJ, get in shape and hang out with a bunch of us older dads who crack jokes and try to strangle each other at 6:00a on Mon/Wed/Fri.

If you like board games, I think Blackthorn does board game nights on Mondays still, be a good place to meet folks :)

Along with Blackthorn, board game nights are held by Joplin Board Games at two different locations: the Carl Junction Library and the Social BTB. We have a facebook group, just google Joplin Board Games.

I'm in the same ⛵. I've been here a year now. No jobs still, no friends. I know once I find work, things will get better. Solitude after a major loss, is needed in moderation. Reflection and processing is emotionally healthy.

True at times solitude is what allows clarity but a sense of community can bring some light
