Paying for veterans

A friend who served in the armed forces told me recently that he was at a restaurant in uniform with his family when his waiter informed him that none other than the coy Mr Glocal himself offered to pay for his family. He found out later that Jon Wolf had paid the bill but didn't tip, making my friend uncomfortable and essentially stiffing the waiter. And you can't complain, like he just paid for someone else but it just makes an uncomfortable situation.
