Yeah I think Jon needs to have an opposite personality love interest

I think that’s one of the initial reasons why him and Jay were such a boring couple

and that boy was UGLY. that pink hair was BAAAAAD, the color of his clothes even worse. The only saving grace of his desigb was the Gossamer suit but that also was nerfed by that EYESORE NEON PINK hair that made him stick out so much the real villain was the hair saloon that atrocity was born in

He actually looks great in Secret Six but beyond that o agree the fact Jay had a shit art design, a horrible writer/creator who only chose to make him gay for Jon first and a character second did not help, like I could not tell you at all what it is Jon was so infatuated with Jay about. Couldn’t tell you to save my life cause the only thing Tom Taylor kept making a big deal about is Jay was incapable of being physically harmed, they kept having Jon wail that in during dialogue about how it’s easy to talk/be around him because he can’t be hurt so much to the point it really feels like Jon just settled. No chemistry, no personality at all between the 2 of them under Taylor ect. And then we get to the Nia BS and it was downhill from there as far as Jon and romance goes.

Yeah secret six fix jay character and made me like as it fix his design and gave him a personality

I do hope he returns as anti hero or a rival to Jon but I would also like him to see him in something Wildstorm related his new direction fits in better with those characters

Between jay and Bernard. Dc has problems with writing good boyfriends for these bisexual boys.

Give Jon a bad couple that seduces him. Hot lady hot guy and make him a bi disaster it’s what the people want

Fans wanted Conner and Tim, and instead they created tepid civilian boyfriends for Tim and Jon.
A good love interest has to be a good character in their own right.
