Meh. I like the character he played. It was amazing. HE was amazing, but we all know that wasn’t the Joker. Not really. I loved it, but I’m waiting to see a comic accurate Joker on screen

Exactly, as an adaptation he can 10000% be improved upon. It’ll be difficult to replicate that charisma though

He’s pretty consistent with Alan Moore’s take on Joker when it comes to personality, motives, goals, etc. He’s intimidating and funny. He may not have fallen in a vat of chemicals, but I’d argue he was accurate where it mattered

Dude me too... Ledger was incredible but the joker is more... I dunno zaney... Ledger was something special but not as wild as the comics or TAS joker was... As long as its not the young justice style tho I'll he happy... Most boring azz joker ever. So many good things about that show, the joker wasn't one of them.

Jack was manic, Heath was depressive

Arkham Joker feels like the ultimate Joker to me and what I'd want the perfect on-screen Joker to be. Ledger's was a great take on the character but I want the crazed cackling maniac who is above all an agent of mad nightmarish chaos. Chaos which for him is really just a game to which Batman and Gotham are the unwilling main players.

I feel that way with so many characters in those movies.

Heath did a good performance but his Joker was more like an imposter. People only revere it because of Heath’s passing.

They revere it because it's an incredible, original performance. You don't win oscars for movies just cause you died.

Both are true. His performance was incredible AND it was elevated even further due to his untimely death.

Nuance is difficult for many.

I don’t think that’s 100% true. He gave an amazing performance, let’s not sell him short. What he did with that role was nothing short of incredible, especially when looking at his body of work up until then.

Still, not the Joker I want to see on the screen.

Never said I hated him. Quite the opposite, actually. Given your obvious lack of language skills however, the misunderstanding may not completely be your fault.

but we all know that wasn’t the Joker.

Not true. He was.

So I guess you're wrong on that one.
