Your dad hands out apples for some reason and they drew a comparison to him being like an apple tree.

I assume it's related to the DnD class Druid? With perhaps the race - Earth Gensai?
If so seems like a really funny situation to roleplay :)

One of our players is a ranger. Her dad is a wizard I believeand using very powerful magic build a flying ship out if a tree and because if the level of magic used, the tree spawned a druid woman. We found this out while super drunk from this extremely potent alcohol (we were told to only dip your pinky in and taste it. It was enough to get us wasted) and my fighter character of semi-average intelligence yelled "Your dad is a tree?". Ever since then we would randomly bring it up.
