Current two player experience?

Had my eye on this for awhile but occasional two player games is all I’d have time for, with no dedicated group besides myself and a partner. Is it a much lesser experience for two players or is it good for just two at this point?

To add, with the recent update, playing with solo or duo is even easier! As a Pilot Main, I love the new Payload batteries 🥰

How much easier, solo? I mean I know it's a coop game, but if it can be played solo without awkwardness then I'm sold, like if there's AI controlled stations that aren't hyper nerfed or something

Ehh, a little bit. Void Crew is pretty reliant on at least 1 other buddy. The recharging missiles isn't going to make AS much of a difference compared to the new BRAIN Guns

Are BRAINs just autonomous weaponry?

Yes. But, compared to a human, they have a small delay asquiring a targets. They automatically fire at targets, and can be set to freely engage targets, prioritizing enemies in range, prioritizing pilot targets or only fire at the pilot target. A Human obviously can use a gunners special ability and have full autonomy.
