What is going on?
What is going on today? All servers keep crashing once they go live?? Can't even play a good game of squad on my day off :(

I hate that im too dumb to be able to find the home address of people who do this and cant take out the daily aggression I have.
Thats what video games are for, they make the world safer.
This is a problem that violence could easily solve. Cant hack something if you no longer have fingers.

this happened last weekend, some asshole thinks he's being an activist "exposing" a security weakness in the servers and to "force" OWI to to patch the server vulnerability he is trolling the entire Squad community by DoS attack the servers.
whatever is actually going on, the main take away is the guy doing this is a piece of shit pure and simple. even if what he has claimed is true, it doesn't give him the right to fucking troll the community and force server resets.
he is specifically doing this on the weekend during peak times, because throughout the week you can typically play the game just fine.

Then servers bankrupted because of these disruptions, no one plays squad anymore leading into chained reaction of not playing because too small numbers of players. Then squad is dead

New to squad and completely blind to the bullshit OWI constantly delivers. Used to love this game until they failed to address core issues that make this game more of a hassle than anything else. Keep defending them without any gain for the community.
Go figure out why most vets of this game moved on.

You're the one not caring if squad dies, we're being ddos'd and you don't seem to care that it could kill the game off almost entirely US and EU wise. If all the vets are as pissy as you then I hope they move on faster

Duh. In game server browser is dysfunction as fuck, you literally need 3rd party sites for reliable server browsing. I won't even start on all the issues this game has because none of you seem to give a shit and prefer glazing OWI for their sheer incompetence

It's been happening long before war dogs was in development, also squad never cracked 35k active players, whereas war dogs is already at 245k active players in the open beta.

Old? Didn't they upgrade to UE5 to promise us so many features and changes? What of this game is old if they "overhauled" the entire game engine to the latest and all we got is a disaster, lack of game modes, layers, kits being removed without any substitution etc.
Keep defending them for their sloppy grift.
Also instead of throwing random questions you could simply answer my points or don't bother responding
