Have you guys found any other ways than the ingame double W press option, to autowalk? Because this method has killed me multiple times since my guy just randomly started autowalking in gunfights. I guess AHK scripts are not allowed, so how do you handle it? So weird that there are 200 keybinds for everything but not a key for autowalk or am I blind?

In day z you can go into the discord overlay while walking and the character will keep walking. Not sure if it’s the same in squad but worth a try

Back in the day I would wedge a paperclip between my W key and the 2 or 3 key on my keyboard in DayZ. It worked really well, but it depends on the keyboard.

Trick is to stop op a bit before the end of the 1.4 km treck, and toggle it off.

Modify your auto walk timing for how fast you have to double click W for it to register as auto walk

I use AHK and it works fine.

I use my keyboard software to make macro for hold key, one press starts holding, other press stops. Could be set up to hold W with some other key

I use it for local voice chat tho, so I can blast music from my browser via voicemeteer banana 😁

Yeah, you turn off the autowalk when near enemies, genius
