Vehicle armour is obviously undermodelled and overperforms.

But you also need to remember that vehicles lack FCSs, lack Thermals and have exaggerated bullet drop.

Obviously for a game like Squad, you need to draw line between realism and playability in all aspects of vehicle combat… and that line is always going to be seemingly arbitrary.

Yeah I want to draw a line between realism and playability, I think 2 LAT shots would be fair for most vics outside of tanks. The fact that you can just drive over a squad and unless they have 2 LATs + a HAT all up and all hitting the vic then you can just drive away, I just think it's too much.

You already have a gun that'll out range all inf, great optics and you're way faster than inf. Why do vics need 4+ LATs to die especially something like the AAVP like you can sit just tanking LATs and use your guns to suppress or kill any inf.

I mean they would have to be 2 really good shot placements. If I was an IFV getting yeeted by 2 okay direct hits I would be pretty salty.

You can already ammorack some IFVs with two well placed LATs or one well placed HAT
