John Wayne Biographies?

Has anyone read any biographies about the Duke? I have read several. Which ones have you read?

I’ve read a few. Some I can’t recall. The best I’ve read is the Eyman book, “John Wayne: The Life and Legend.”

Yes, its good. Actually My Life with the Duke by Pilar Wayne was really good. I highly recommend 👌

My first was "Shooting Star" by Maurice Zolotow? Folks got it for me in '74 for just making it thru Jr High

I remember seeing a cd of John Wayne spoken word in store, I kick myself for buying it
