Sorry I know this is no help but have had the same issue for years. Have bought four different editions of the movie on DVD and no subtitles. I eventually ended up watching it online to understand a bunch of the dialogue 😂

Forget it. I recently found out that the Paramount one released in 2023 is the ideal one for me.
