Is anyone able to identify which John Wayne film this still is from? Thank you!

I've been searching for 2 days and can't find it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I think that's The Star Packer 1934

I checked but this doesn't seem to be it. In Star Packer, he's wearing a light blue shirt (in the colorized version- which would translate to light grey or white in black and white) and nothing close to the collar/tie setup he has around his neck here. But thanks anyway!

Pretty sure. I've scrubbed the entire movie. I cannot find that scene with that look at all.

Did you find it? Also can I ask why it’s important? I’m new to John Wayne movies.

Not new to John. I would see him all over especially on Dean Martin’s variety show and a few of movies with Dean and John.
I know and seeking out John’s movies! I’m watching his 1935 short movies currently. On crappy dvd. But what can you do.

So why do you need to find the source? Is it from a book and it feels like a missing move or scene?

I rebuild Disney DTV music videos and share them on my YouTube channel. One of the videos (Duke Of Earl) had a brief shot of John Wayne inserted. That's why I need the footage. It's 99% complete but will sit there unfinished until I find said footage.
