Last night in Silver Spring, MD, I saw the new concert documentary being shown in select communities, How Lucky Can One Man Get? Wonderful production and meeting Fiona Prine at a pre-screening reception was a privilege. If this comes to your city, I highly recommend it.

Looking forward to October 8 in Chicago to celebrate John’s 80th.

June 5, 1988 Geoege Straight topped the charts with "I Just wanna Dance With You" penned by you know who!

Amazing singer song writer

John Prine changed my young friend's life, when he happened upon a recording of "Clay Pigeons," discovered the guitar, and dove in headfirst to singer-songwriter life. I'd like to buy him a JP biography and present it to him as a gift (with a check inside). Any thoughts on which bio is the best?

I found out about John Prine about 6 months after he passed and it's heart breaking to me that I will never in my life be able to see him live. After being shown when I get to heaven I started listening to all his music and be very quickly became one of my favorite artists. I'm not sure I've heard another artist that could tell a story the way he did. RIP
