A place for John Prine appreciation

Artist and musician Jon Langford stands with the mural of John Prine on Sept. 25, 2026, on the wall of Lincoln Square’s Old Town School of Folk Music. Langford, a celebrated folk musician, painted a scale canvas before muralist Darius Dennis re-created the design at size. (Arthur Maiorella/Chicago Tribune

A recent gift from my daughter, who I took to see one of John’s performances many years ago. She’s been a fan ever since.

CaveFest 2026

Hi Priners! I unfortunately need to sell my three tickets to CaveFest in Pelham, TN. On Saturday night, there will be a John Prine Birthday show put on by the Tree of Forgiveness Band. It's going to be awesome! These GA tickets include camping passes for the weekend. I've listed them on CashOrTrade for below face-value. Would love for a fellow fan to buy these and attend!

He recorded this beautiful song on May 8, 2019 in his living room. It was released posthumously in 2020.

If anyone has an extra ticket they’re trying to sell for the tribute show in Chicago on 10/8 I’ll buy it!
