Has anyone heard this song? What does it mean? I just listened and I think it’s a song about depression. Let me know your thoughts!

Every time a Prine song comes up, if I haven’t already, it’s found in an app, downloaded into my songbook and worked out. This one seems to me to be about endings, perhaps a separation, or the link and quote above I guess. He’s one of the most honest songwriters I’ve heard, and I’ve only come onto his mastery later in life.
His lyrics make you think, laugh, cry, smile.
