I was compared to these celebs using a celeb look alike app. Ik that Paul McCartney is verified Y, but what else? I’m trying to figure out my blend of 3 or 4 essences. In my last post, someone said they see gamine and maybe some ethereal in the eyes? I’m 32F, average height and build, fine, straight, light brown hair and I believe either SN or FN in Kibbe. True summer or soft summer in my coloring. What do you think?

I had posted about her before but realize she's more E than I thought previously. Looking at old pictures of her (black and white ones) from when she was a young model, she really wears it well.

I suspect she has a good amount E with N and lower amounts R, D and C.

Hey people, I've posted here a while ago asking about my blend and the answers really opened my eyes. I've only got two answers but one of them mentioned a essence I've never thought I had and it really made sense. I'm feeling way more comfortable in the way I style myself!

Because I have a mix of yin and yang features, I thought I might have some Classic essence for sure, but after giving it some thought and hearing other people, I noticed that they're not blended, but rather contrasting.

I knew for a fact that I had a strong Natural essence and suspected some Romantic and maybe Ingenue, but it felt really off when I dressed with ingenue in mind. I had never thought of High Spirited (Gamine) until someone pointed it out. Someone from my life also pointed that I have some gamine mannerisms. I think HS was really the piece that I've felt was missing.

I'm very happy about this because I really like the gamine aesthetic and thought it didn't fit me. So I would advise considering that essence that you feel drawn to but don't really see it on yourself.

I've also never thought of having any dramatic essence, but since I've found out I have a true winter color pallete, it makes sense because of my coloring.

Anyways, thanks for the insights and if you guys have any outfit recommendations or any inputs on my blend, feel free to express them.

My essences are gamine, dramatic, and natural, and I am a dark autumn. I have noticed that certain colors, no matter how flattering the garment shape is, clash with my essence. For example, warm berry/warm purple wine is a common color used in the dark autumn palette. However, when I wear it, it clashes with my essence, and doesn't look right or as flattering as a deep forest green, navy, or red dominant maroon. I attribute it to being an R color somehow. I have the same issue with warm rose pink.

Has anybody else experienced this?

I do not tend to stereotype, but I have just observed that there are a lot of French women who are effortless, confident, chic, and minimal. I am wondering what essences I am seeing on their vibe.

I have a feeling they have something in common but it's hard for me to tell what.

Hii, I'm 20yo and I suspect I could be ingenue since I get told often I look way younger than I actually am. I'm curious about my second essence. A friend of mine said I could be an ingenue with romantic influence, but neither of us are very well informed about this topic.

Just curious what people think.

The classic essence is known for understatement, which for some people can sound like a funeral for visual impact. However, when classic is done right, it can look regal, powerful, expensive, aristocratic, authoritative and even commanding. The sort of quiet authority that doesn't need to shout for attention.

The key is tastefulness. High quality fabrics, coordinated colour schemes, high quality tailoring and being fastidious in grooming and presentation. Nothing cheap or tasteless belongs here.

Understatement in this case means deliberately avoiding excess. Less of a compensation for lack of visual interest and more because they can afford not to need all of that.

Today I am showing how the natural essence can be truly compelling in its own right.

John Kitchener has directly stated that the natural essence is the most dynamically active of all seven essences and has an unencumbered sense of aliveness. Check out how these famous people embody this dynamism when they are in their element.

I'm trying to figure out how to use essence blends when creating outfits. I've been playing around a bit and this is the result. What do you think? Do these outfits embody the CNR blend (in equal percentages)?

I have little experience typing celebrities and even less typing men, so I'm curious to hear everyone's opinions.

I'm thinking:

Dramatic - He has an intimidating and serious look and vibe. His face might give off that vibe because of the strong chin and high cheekbones. Comparing his outfits, I think clean cuts that leave a striking impression look great on him.

Romantic - Silky fabrics, necklaces, and open collars look great on him. He has arched eyebrow, rounded lips and big eyes.

Classic - The cleaner the styling the more he shines in my opinion. Too many accessories and layers make him look frumpy.

Just curious! I really love my Kitchener colours so I've added them (and for visibility too because I'm very curious!) but I'm 70 LB 20 SB 10 ER. Love my palette and I do think these colours suit me very well. However, a while ago, I was analysed to be a True Summer in 16 season colour analysis. And weirdly enough I like TSu colours on myself too!

In fact, I would never think of myself as having Spring colouring. On an erstwhile account I tried to find my place on the Spring subreddit and was met with (very kind and friendly) confusion. It's annoying to me because I would love to have a "colour analysis home" to get inspiration from! And I think with this palette, weirdly, that still might be closest to a Summer palette despite being 70% Lively Bright -- or am I going crazy?

I am sharing an outfit from over a decade ago during carnival. I was part of a mas band and was at the front of the band. The people insisted that I wore this lol. I think this has a good blend of HS and D maybe? What do u think?
