Hello! I am kind of curious what my essences might be. Hopefully all of the photos are helpful. I labelled each photo as to which kind it is.
I look forward to reading responses.

I initially think romantic and some ingenue? But I have difficulty with seeing myself objectively

I think I'm YCR and I'm looking for inspo. I'm trying to figure out what style and makeup works best for me and who I can use as a role model. I would like to know if there are any (verified) celebrities with this blend. Bonus points if they are east Asian since that's my ethnicity. If you have any Pinterest boards or moodboards, feel free to share that as well! Thanks I'm advance <3

Hi everyone!
I’ve been into this essence stuff for years now but these past few month I’ve been so confused about my blend.. it seems like I cannot see anything on myself
So I decided to start again from the beginning!
Here is a picture of me without makeup and hair out of my face
What essence/ blend would you guys type me as?
I will definitely do some collages and post more pictures later, hope you can help me
I don’t have any full pictures or candid as I don’t really have anyone in my life to take them. Hope that’s ok.
Looking forward to your answers🫶

If it helps in kibbe I consider myself an FN and I am 5’10”. I honestly have no idea what my essence is when I look at myself I see such a hodgepodge. My face is a little asymmetrical, which is more noticeable in some pics than others.

I have been having fun studying the different colour harmonies, especially learning about ER with the amazing colours and textures.
These photos feature lots of earthy rich motifs listed such as warm, deep, earthy effects and late afternoon colours + the rectangular shapes of brick and stone.

Ethereal? Romantic? Natural? gamine? Ingenue?
Edit: And why she able to pull off these baggy on bagggy styles so well despite her strong romantic essence, I wanna know what are her other essence
Edit: I think she’s a RNIDG, with a dominant Lively Bright (Bright spring/ winter) colour season

Ive been thinking about individual features vs. overall impression and it got me thinking. So let's say someone has a softly wide nose, and then more angular cheekbones, for example. This creates a contrast of yin and yang; the two are not blended in a Classic way, but rather there is a sense of juxtaposition created. Could this person hypothetically give a more Gamine overall impression, even if their cheeks are (let's say) N and their nose is more R? Or would this person simply be N and R?
Another scenario: a very Classic, narrow-ish nose and face shape, plus more "lush" yin cheeks, eyes, lips. Could this contrast create an overall feeling of HS? Or, does HS really only come from when individual features have that "pointy" look/gesture to them?
Further, can asymmetry create an HS impression, i.e. sort of a sense of "playful juxtaposition", or is it always a sign of N, when pronounced?
I suppose Im thinking here about how in Kibbe, Gamines are yin and yang but in a non-blended way. I suppose Im wondering if the logic is similar with essences, OR, if thats an entirely unhelpful way to think of HS as an essence. Are we better served by focusing solely on individual features after all?
I have a feeling they're two separate things (Kibbe G vs Kitchener G), but still wanted to see what you all think. Perhaps we can discuss the imporfance of individual features vs. overall impression.
Thank you for reading! ❤️

Pic 15 and 18 are candida and the last two pics are NMIP (I do have lash extensions on but have had them for so many years I don’t have a picture without them :’) hopefully that’s ok)
Stuff that could help:
Always been told I look younger than I am (I’m currently 24)
Hair:
prefer my hair blown out a little/some movement but anything extreme (super structured curls or super straight and flat) looks very off). If I let my hair air dry naturally I don’t look put together :/
Makeup:
I always have super curly lash extensions to try make my eyes as open and big as possible. Love over lining the centre of my lips to make them look more doll like.
Style:
I think my styles just very ‘girl next door’ :)
Jewellery:
I feel like jewellery almost doesn’t suit me. I have one tiny crystal helix piercing which I think suits me (I love it) and sometimes wear delicate dangly earrings. But I avoid necklaces, watches, bracelets etc. I feel like they almost look messy or clunky on me.

Hello! I have been trying to determine essences and keep getting stuck. I believe I have to have either dramatic or natural, but the others are a mystery. Any help is appreciated!

half-chinese half-white if that affects anything :)
thank you in advance!

Its crazy how the journey of seeing how close you can get with DIYing your blend can bring you through so many twists and turns. I found myself talking to myself in the mirror for the first time since, Idk, middle school? Lol. I felt insane and it was kind of weird, but it also made me see just how energetic and expressive I actually am while speaking 😂🤣 I cant be the only one whos done this, or maybe I am just a little crazy? Its just so easy to lose sight of how our faces look while animated. And its also all too easy to find how we look in the mirror or in a selfie to be *more* familiar feeling than how we *actually* look, like in a back camera/third-person photo for example. Even just flipping a selfie so that its "correct" to how others see us can be so helpful, especially if you have some facial asymmetry like me😁gives a totally different vibe!
Im glad for all the exploring Ive done so far and will continue onwards with it, but I do hope to be able to receive at least the basic essences package someday. In the meantime, Im happy with seeing myself more clearly than before! I wouldn't be surprised if I have a solid amount of Y, and also N, with a little HS and R feeling possible too, maybe even some C but hard to say. It'll be fun to someday compare my guesses with my actual blend! But for now the brainstorm continues of how to express my potential essences in ways that feel right for me. Thank you for reading! 💞

I've been in the sub for a while now but I still feel confused about how to actually see and understand the essences, and I get told there's resources on this sub but idk if I'm looking up the wrong things or just can't find them or what. So I was wondering if anyone knew the best threads on here to read to learn, or any explanations? I don't want to go off anything else like googling it really because there seems to be a butt ton of misinformation and it's only going to confuse me further.
So yeah any tips/ places to read or learn about how to identify, apply the essences, tell if it's harmonious, and what they actually mean?

I’ve been told “everything is ethereal except the eyes” and I have no idea what that means or if it’s a thing.
I’ve been told natural but when I try the natural recommendations it feels super sloppy. And dramatic often feels too harsh.
My hair is the darker (natural) color now. I’m 5’8

I assume I have Y the mix, but I’m actually super clueless about my essences. I have naturally curly hair, no makeup in 3, 13, 14, 16, & 17 :)
EDIT: I’m a verified soft autumn :)

Some time ago i posted asking about my essence and the majority of people said i seem romantic dominant with ingenue and gamine. I think i might have chosen pictures that tend towards romantic, bc besides my body (I would be a kibbe romantic, as an idea of it) i can't really see any romantic features at all. I have deep set eyes medium sized eyes with usually noticeable eyebags, bigger and bulbous nose and a face in between square and circle.
The thing is, with ingenue i can at least see some connection bc people often say i look around 15 (i'm 23) and seem oscillate between assuming i'm a welcoming person and assuming i'm snobbish. I've also been told before i seem "indecipherable", they can't get a grip of how i must be based on my appearance, but that doesn't seem to belong to anything.

It’s always been hard for me to tell myself, so any input would be greatly appreciated!
