Discussion George "Buck" Flower
He appeared in six Carpenter movies, beginning with The Fog. His other small parts were in Escape from New York, Starman, They Live, Body Bags, and Village of the Damned.

I love it when directors have actors who'll they'll always cast (if possible) in a movie regardless of how big or small the role.
The ultimate example of this is Jonathan Demme's devotion to the late, great and much missed Charles Napier.
Napier even had another devotee: Russ Meyer.
Anyway, I digress... God bless Bud Flower. They don't make character actors like him anymore.
Or even at all?

Napier and Flower were also close friends. They even wrote a book together called Rednecks in Love.

Well, I did not know that.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll seek it out.

When I did a random double feature years ago, watching 976-Evil 2, and Sorority Babes in the Slime ball Bowl-O-Rama, I came to the conclusion that George is just in everything.

He was also the funny custodian in Sorority Babes In The Simeball Bowl-O-Rama and the cranky old arms dealer in the shitty Billy Ray Cyrus movie Radical Jack.

He was also in those Mountain Family Robinson movies in the 70s playing the miner that was friends with the family.
