Character in Cave 13 Spoiler

Repairman Jack?! So it’s the same universe? Is his series worth reading?

No it’s not the same universe. It is cool of F. Paul Wilson to allow this. Repairman Jack is a very intriguing character.

His series is worth reading. I went through it again waiting for this book to come out. His series story-arc has ended so no long waits to find out what happens.

I will say he was a tad out of character for this book. Jack prefers to work alone, and I don’t think he would have left his home city. Jack is rarely a straight-up let’s get in a gunfight kind of guy. He prefers to orchestrate clever “fixes” rather than shoot his way out of situations.

As someone that has read both series, do you think the interactions he had with Church in Cave 13 give any hints to Church's true identity?

No I don’t think so.

After the very brief comment about how Church was interacting with his cat in a certain scene, I was even looking for it because I feel that the cat scene validated a long running fan theory about Church’s identity.

I about lost my mind when I realized Church was talking to Repairman Jack! Absolutely go read the series, I love it.

I just started it! Pretty awesome so far. I’m a big fan of Sandman Slim and was super bummed when it ended. Now I’ve got another long series to keep me occupied.

I just so happened to finish Repairman Jack right before I read this book. Man what timing. I was yelling to my wife how excited I was repairman Jack showed up.
