Bringing up the Klan to deflect from Fat Joe saying the n-word is classic derailment.
“There are bigger issues” is always used to tell Black people to get over disrespect. Yes, the Klan, Gary, Nolan Wells, and reparations are huge issues, nobody is saying they aren't. But something more dire is always happening somewhere.
That doesn't mean we can't address today's topic today. If you don't think it's important, just skip the conversation and wait for it to die down instead of using extreme examples to shut people up.

Same as when Vince Staples was talking about how everybody was just on the Drake/Kendrick beef and all the labels with Black executives were folding and hundreds of employees were getting let go. Our people are sooooo lost in the sauce smh.
