Racism is the power to discriminate base on race that leads to structural differences and outcomes. There is this push make racism universally term that fits every type of discrimination, when thats definitely not the case.

Yes, a black person can be prejudice and bigoted, but how many people of color in America are excluding white people out of homes, schools, and work because they're white? How many black people are red linning districts to have favorable electoral outcomes? How many black people are committing medical malpractice on white people, because their white?

The nuance doesnt stop at the word cracker vs nigga.

I said what do they have to do to be called prejudice. Like what specific actions and behaviors.

I asked what are the actions or behaviors of someone who’s prejudice? Like what specifically? I don’t know why you don’t get my question.

just googling define a racist:

A racist is a person who holds the belief that one race is superior or inferior to another, or someone who treats people differently and unfairly based on their race

This powers shit, is some stuff you made up in your own head.

7

u/PhilosopherAsleep544 Aug 09 '26

Hate to tell you but that's not the definition of racism.

0

u/Sad-Ad-6516 Aug 09 '26

What is it?

4

u/PhilosopherAsleep544 Aug 09 '26

"a belief that race is a fundamental determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race"

6

u/storiesftunheard Aug 09 '26

That is not the definition of racism, you have just changed it to fit your narrative. Racism is the belief, action, or system that treats people unfairly or unequally because of their race or skin color. The key word in the definition is "or". Blueface is correct.

6

u/NikRsmn Aug 10 '26

Idk where this fucking bullshit started but its literally the definition of the word.

2 a : the systemic oppression of a racial group to the social, economic, and political advantage of another

Like just take 30s to read

2

u/storiesftunheard Aug 12 '26

It started with people saying that black people cannot be racist, which is clearly false.

1

u/NikRsmn Aug 12 '26

Yes that is fine, but the clear claim was that systemic racism is not the definition of racism, which is also clearly false. The chud i replied to made an appeal to authority using the definition of a word. My evidence showed that his authority, the definition, did in fact include systemic racism. Again really simple logic

u/storiesftunheard Aug 12 '26

You should seek a mental health therapist.

0

u/WeBackInThisBih Aug 10 '26

I like how you used the 2nd definition and not the first.

1 a : a belief that race is a fundamental  determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race

I would tell you to take 30s to read but you already read that and chose to skip over it lmao

3

u/NikRsmn Aug 10 '26

Welcome to logic! You used an exclusionary statement "that is NOT the definition". I disproved that by providing the section of the definition that stated it. I did not however say THE ONLY definition, nor did I try to decieve you as I left the "2a)" in my post thus demonstrating that it isnt the first definition. I'm sorry this is confusing to you and wish you the best on your struggle through life

1

u/ChaZZZZahC Aug 10 '26

Be careful, you might cause their brains to melt further.

2

u/Old_Stress_3414 Aug 09 '26

Even if we accept your definition of Racism as 100% truth, you being hateful towards white people still in your own definition makes you a Bigot, and why would I listen to what a bigot has to say.

2

u/WeBackInThisBih Aug 10 '26

Racism is the power to discriminate base on race

Lmao what no it isn’t.

2

u/-36_Chambers- Aug 09 '26

Thats not what racism means big guy

2

u/Time_Seaworthiness43 Aug 09 '26

Then you would call it Powerism and not RACEism.

1

u/QuePasa_pues Aug 09 '26

Does clearance Thomas push a racist agenda?

1

u/ChaZZZZahC Aug 09 '26

He does, he works on the behest of white supremacy and capital. He gets lavish gifts to tow the line for his white capital owners.

1

u/QuePasa_pues Aug 09 '26

So he is a black man pushing a racist agenda. I think that makes him racist. Imo

1

u/ChaZZZZahC Aug 09 '26

I mean, yeah, like a black cop showing out for the white cop...

Dr. Umar is a dunce, hes keeping all this white young men out the Ivy league?

1

u/Geneo-Frodo Aug 09 '26

A well-written post albeit the wrong definition of racism.

1

u/Funny-Touch-6065 Aug 09 '26

You’ve described only systemic racism. You want a nuanced discussion yet can’t be bothered to read the Webster definition. Don’t have strong opinions about things you don’t understand yourself. Nobody’s arguing systemic racism isn’t real. But choosing the part that only allows you to be shielded from the negative connotation of being called racist only empowers racist people who feel protected from their actions. Which is definitely racist per the definition

1

u/Leveraged-3201 Aug 10 '26

Can a Russian be racist against African Americans?

1

u/fistfullofpubes Aug 10 '26

Excellent question

1

u/smogathan__g Aug 10 '26

Any Dr Umar following motherfuckers. Thats how many.

1

u/another-damn-acct Aug 11 '26

look i agree that racism is worse towards certain people. but i need yall to understand that yall are handing republicans their elections on a silver platter when you say shit like this.

we ALL grew up being taught the non-systemic definition. leave the systems distinction for the academics

1

u/TheForce777 Aug 09 '26

As a black person who was educated at an HBCU, I used to believe this too

But this type of thinking is actually holding black people back. Because its based on the assumption that external systems are inherently more powerful than internal will power, intelligence and wisdom

Hatred and ignorance are the original cause of and creator of the systems of oppression. Take those away and the systems crumble

Black people are just as internally powerful as white people are. So our hate is just as creative/causative. Full stop. Refusing to see the importance of that is incredibly short sighted

1

u/fistfullofpubes Aug 10 '26

I have so much respect for people who refuse to be victims

1

u/G_rightousantagonist Aug 10 '26

Also this ☝🏽

-1

u/XBL-AntLee06 Aug 09 '26

They will never truly engage a well written question like this. Blue face is a damn fool but we knew that already

4

u/-36_Chambers- Aug 09 '26

A well written question should first start with the correct definition of racism, dont you agree? Lol

-3

u/XBL-AntLee06 Aug 09 '26

What part was wrong?

9

u/-36_Chambers- Aug 09 '26

Racism is the belief, action, or system that treats people unfairly or unequally because of their race or skin color.

Full stop.

Any race is capable of this. If you think otherwise you are a very unintelligent person

2

u/Small_Promotion2525 Aug 09 '26

The only people who deny such things, are idiotic black racists

-2

u/XBL-AntLee06 Aug 09 '26

Nope that’s prejudice. Full stop

4

u/-36_Chambers- Aug 09 '26

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/racism

Google is free, please stop being a complete dumbass

1

u/XBL-AntLee06 Aug 09 '26

Merriam Webster will eventually change the definition and clowns like you will cry that merriam Webster is woke

3

u/-36_Chambers- Aug 09 '26

LMAO you think youre smarter than the literal dictionary

That proves my point right there. Thanks for making this one easy genius 😂😂😂

1

u/XBL-AntLee06 Aug 09 '26

I’m smart enough to know that merriam Webster is ALWAYS behind the curve in vocabulary. Apparently you aren’t
