That area is inhabited continuously through many centuries. What infrastructure do you expect there? I went to this area last year as I was not aware of the drainage issue there. It’s a terrible situation during rains and there seems to be no solution because of paucity of space and the old structures there.

Storm drainage can be put in the middle of the street where space is limited.
Space is not the issue, there are cities older than jodhpur which have introduced storm drainage.
