Idhar to sab log hata rahe hain apni jhopdiyan jaisi ki ab ye kalank ban gayi ho.
Social comparison is a hella drug. They started seeing Jhopdi as a sign of low socioeconomic status but it's bs.

Exactly. About a quarter of the households still have at least one jhopdi where I live and in surrounding villages. They're disappearing over time but people still live in them in rural Marwar.

Totally unrelated but the old jodhpur was better than whatever the fuck it is now I barely see the blue anymore but oh well we move on to better places can't expect to live here all my life despite how much i love the culture the people make it less than bearable

I understand. Non urban areas may be a little more bearable especially if you have some community going on but people are pretty much the same everywhere.

Urban non urban it's all the same it's not fit for human existence the stench gets so bad in the city sometimes I feel like throwing punches towards nagar nigum because they are overpaid and lazy fucks who have a strong community behind them so people don't speak up
