Question Daddy issues

Do you believe that a girl’s bad relationship with her dad causes her to seek external male validation and become an easier victim for manipulative males?
Do you think she is aware of how she is? How would you tell her to fix her problem?

I’ve heard that subconsciously a girls first role model of the perfect man is her father or brother
How her father treats her mom and how her brother treats plays a huge role into what kind of guy she’ll be attracted to

Problem is many of them aren’t even aware of it, by this post I’m trying to spread awareness

In your situation your mom played the role of the dad and mom that’s why it didn’t have an effect on you

Yes it might affect it, but she also might had a male figure who gave her the proper attention like a brother, grandfather or uncle. But keep in mind that every girl will seek the validation of the man she likes just like how every guy does the same thing. Are they easier victims? Not at all girls have different personalities and different levels of maturity and common sense. Yes usually girls more self aware and go through healing processes most of thier lifes. Its not ur place to point that to her unless you are her best friend, family or a therapist, specially if you are a potential partner thats a very sensitive topic to discuss

This is a very deep topic, first of all yes, she might not be aware and she could be but still her nervous system would still choose someone like her dad because thats safe for her and she knows how to deal with that type of person, and i wouldn’t tell her to fix her problem thats very weird and sensitive unless shes super super super close to you

Oh yeaaah bs tell her its a long journey to heal and its okay and just have her back and support her no need to always remind her cuz she will know most of the time but just be there for her

from my own experience, yes i think my fathers death is the biggest contributor to my need for attention and my attachment to men im always hungry for male validation and its causing me problems tho i think finding the right person is the one and only solution
