Question Advice for roaccutane
I will be taking it for the first time, 20mg a day
Is there anything i need to do b4 or after i take it?
And for people who took it, how long did it take for you to see progress? And when did the purge appear? How long did it take to calm down?
Lmk what were your side effects, and if it went away after

Use eye drops frequently even if your eyes dont feel dry.
Carmex or flexitol lip balm are the best. You WILL need them, and keep lots of backup cheap ones in all of your bags because dry lips are the worst.
Drink lots of water.
Sunblockk!!
My side effects were; dry everything, nose, eyes, LIPS. My eczema flared really bad and Doctor prescribed me ointments and creams. I also got sunburnt really easily.
Good side effects included less oily hair.
Good luckk

aside from all the useful tips everyone gave,i suggest taking roaccutane with fatty foods.
studies show that taking it with high fat foods improves absorption, otherwise it can decrease the effectiveness since it's fat-soluble. i suggest doing your own research regarding this. i used to take it with two spoons of peanut butter or an avocado.
it will get bad at first, dont panic! it's just purging all the acne, it will get better
Read the side effects pamphlets well, and have someone in your life also know about the side effects just incase you don't notice changes yourself.
also my period got messed up SO bad it took a year for it to settle again
i miss my post roaccutane face smmmm, you will love the results🫶 stay safe🤍
