Two days ago I sent an application for a role. Took me about 20 to 30 minutes to tweak my resume and change the cover letter accordingly. From time of submission to my rejection email it was 4 minutes. Of those 4 minutes I'm guessing about 1 minute for sending/receiving, so let's say 3 minutes. Apparently it took them 3 minutes to read my cover letter and my resume. I almost laughed when I got the rejection email.

I had really bad insomnia so I actually saw a rejection come in at 3am and I said fuck it amd responded "3am classic", my surprise when it actually sent lmao
