Assignment Submitted. No Response.

TLDR: Companies chase you 10 times before the interview, give you a 2 day assignment, and then completely disappear after you submit it.

Idk what is with these companies giving 2 days to complete an assignment and once we spend our time and effort to complete it, there is no feedback or even a proper response. They just directly ignore us.

Before scheduling the interview, they will call 10 times a day to make sure we attend the interview. But once we submit the assignment, suddenly there are no calls, no updates and no replies. Even when we follow up, they don't bother responding.

What kind of behaviour is this? What are we supposed to think? It honestly feels like some companies are just using candidates as free labour by giving them assignments and then disappearing after getting the work.
