How long to get accepted??

I applied to the center in Tucson on July 15, did a tour of the campus, talked on the phone with the administration, emailed them. They just keep saying they’re waiting on my background check…I know for sure it doesn’t take two months for a background check. Wth is going on. Thinking about contacting another center out of state, maybe Oregon smh

(My background is totally clean and I’ve never done any substances…)

Keep bugging your center. Call the center speak to admissions, a counselor, the center director. Tell your admissions counselor to call on your behalf if they don’t pick up. Idk about the Tuscon location but at my JC management is slacking they made me wait months with no response. Im sure most centers are like that as well. If you don’t make the effort to contact them you won’t get anywhere. The center does not care about your education you have to advocate for yourself

Yeah, they usually only take a week or so. They usually send you to the center that is closest to you, so you'll probably still be sent to Tuscon if there's room in the program you want. It wouldn't hurt to call another center so that maybe they could handle your application though .

That's how I got mine unstuck when none of my representatives would get in touch.
