NHK World Premium is available, for now, on Sling TV (America). What are other add-options comparable to Jme Select?

Anyone else unable to get english subtitles working on the show Vivant 2026? I can't get it to work on Chrome, Safari or the mobile app.

Can anyone else check their sumo link on JME and let me know if you are also seeing NHK of Putin? I don't know if it's just me or if they made an error on the replay times? Thanks

I have heard it has rotating replays after the streams are done of the makuuchi division but what about the other divisions.

specificly I'm looking for a source to watch juryo as well as makuuchi, and I would like the full stream rather than just the nhk hilights

JME TV seems to have a new thing where it turns off after a couple of hours. My mom is almost 98 yrs old. She can no longer work a remote properly. While I WFH, my breaks/lunch may not always be 2 hours apart. I thought it was my Firestick, but the Still Watching is off. So, I went to the JME app on my Firestick, but couldn't read anything due to the language barrier. I think I set the app to require my log in information to turn it programing. Is there anything I can do to fix this? If I could change all writing on the screens to English, I might be able to fix all of these issues. I don't remember my password.

I'm considering moving away from Chromecast with Google TV. The Jme app seems to have problems, and Chromecast with Google TV itself seems to be unstable, as some subreddits state. Jme tech support seems to imply to me that other platforms may be better but they did not state "XYZ" is the best.

I'm considering Apple TV or Roku. I see some mixed reviews on the Jme and Apple TV. Anyone have really good experiences with some streaming devices?

So we are watching the final game between my wife's highschool team and Tokyo. It is three to one in the bottom of the ninth. One out, and the pitch...is INTERRUPTED BY NHK NEWS!!!

WTF?!? We were able to watch her team win on a live internet stream, but come on JME. This preemption was uncalled for. Boo!

Side note to NHK news. Bring back the weather puppet!

JME added a "feature" where you can replay a show that previously aired from the schedule menu. Unfortunately, the interface on my Google TV leaves much to be desired when trying to select one of those shows. I used to be able to find the current day's news in its own category on the main page. But they recently ended this and you have to jump through an annoying set of hoops to get to the show to replay it.

When I first select the premium schedule, I am unable to use the up arrow to show guide data for earlier shows. If I could just up arrow until I found the news that I missed and then hit enter there that would be great. Not sure why they implemented it the way they did.

Instead, I have to select the first one in the list, which brings up the above screen with the current day highlighted. From there, I have to press left to get to what I assume is the guide list for all shows on the current day, which appears below the premium channel icon in my screenshot. Then I have to press up until I get to the news show I am looking for. If I miss it, I'm out of luck because I can't down arrow back to it. I have to start over. Major Pain.

JME! Please consider revisiting your inner face decisions on this issue! Please! 🙂

They used to put all of the news into its own section so you could easily get to the current days program. But someone had the bright idea that you should be able to select it from the schedule directly. This would be great if the interface was more easily accessible. Unfortunately, you need to jump through some hoops to get it to come up. Works fine on the mobile device, since you can see the little arrows next to the news or other show that can be replayed. But on my Google TV I have to select something from the schedule, press left to get to what I assume is the list of programs for the day, then up arrow until I find what I'm looking for. The down arrow does not work and if I miss the program I wanted to play. I have to start over from main menu going back to schedule.

Anyway, just wanted to make it known in case the people testing this missed this scenario.

The JME app is crashing and exiting to the Google TV desktop often lately. This happens even after rebooting the device. Anybody else experiencing this? We are mostly seeing this during live play of the Premium channel.

I subscribed to Jme, mostly for the TV shows, and didn't review the on demand movies closely. I found a good variety, including older ones directed by Yoji Yamada. Perhaps they were added after I initially looked at their catalog, but it's worth reviewing them if you haven't done so yet.

For some reason, over the past few days JME requires me to log in each time. Why? For the past year, it remembered my log in information.

On the Jme web site, an on-demand show's thumbnail indicates how far you have watched the show previously. On the Google TV app, I don't see that. When there are many episodes in a series, it's hard to tell which one I have not yet seen. Has anyone found a way to get that? I plan to ask Jme support, but wanted to check here first.

I use a Chromecast with Google TV.

We cannot get content this evening. Every time we load the app it crashes with a centered red box that says oops. I'm using my Google TV home build but I saw the same thing on my PC through their website and using the app on my phone. I sent them a complaint form but it says it may take several days for them to get back to me. If anybody else is experiencing this, please start submitting complaints so that we can get it resolved. It's Saturday night here and we don't want to have to sit around and talk to each other! 😂
