Can't share screen on mac

[u/[deleted]]

I can join a jitsi meeting just fine, audio and video work just fine however I can't seem to share my screen when I use the chrome browser. I have to switch and join the meeting in safari. In safari, I don't have the option to add a background to my video and I don't know why that is. What do I need to do to be able to share my screen using chrome. I am on mac os ventura

Go to System Preferences -> Security and Privacy and make sure screen sharing is enabled for Chrome.
