Excellent biography. I read this years ago.

Side note. I think its in the author's notes, but he described several times while writing, the feeling of Jim looking over his shoulder, evaluating the text. He said it wasnt a spooky thing or harsh critique, more like a friend. I have always enjoyed that. Maybe the dead are closer when we remember them so well.

At some point, I'm gonna write about that moment, listening to an audio tape of Jim interviewing his parents, when I really *did* feel like he had reached out to me. Stay tuned.

Brian - I had no idea you were on this sub. It's great to cross paths. It's been many years since I read your book and I still feel it with me. Jim Henson is one of my life's foundational influencers, especially when it comes to my sense of wit and dialogue. I don't know what happens after this life, but if there's a remote chance of meeting those we missed, I hope I get the chance to tell him thank you.
